Business Development Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales growth within the pharmaceutical sector across the Americas.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, including both large enterprises and emerging biopharma.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and technical support, to ensure customer needs are met and solutions are effectively positioned.
• Present and demonstrate our precision dispensing automation solutions, highlighting the value proposition for pharmaceutical applications.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on new opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
• Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic accounts.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry in the Americas.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel extensively across the Americas.
