The salary range for this role is:
$94,653.84 - $160,990.50Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) eCommerce will be responsible for the successful achievement of the ongoing Digital Merchandising, Assortment and Pricing objectives established for their scope of business.
The key competencies associated with this position include (but are not limited to):
- Establishing a strategic vision and perspective for assigned customers, effectively managing ambiguity and complexity in the marketplace
- Developing strategically aligned partnerships with assigned customers while determining new account opportunities
- Demonstrating decision making agility, providing thought leadership through creative and innovative customer approaches
- Utilizing business and financial acumen to deliver assigned revenue and profit goals within assigned spend
This position will focus on further developing Del Monte’s base business and play a role to develop growth initiatives, strategies, and tactics for emerging categories.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Achieve Fiscal Year Financials for retail.com accounts and the Delivery network:
- Deliver key financial metrics versus AOP sales with an aligned trade spend where applicable.
In-Market Execution and Customer Development:
- Develop customer specific objectives in support of Del Monte’s strategic plan.
- Achieve new item, assortment, pricing, and merchandising objectives set forth for specific customer objectives.
- Grow eCommerce share at assigned account through execution of DMFC’s eCommerce, strategic levers.
- Advise on search needs based off of planned promotional plans and new item launches.
- Key partner to Sales in supporting their strategy and executing eCommerce excellence for the assigned accounts.
- Partner with the Director of Omni Activation on ongoing funding needs to drive results through your respective accounts.
- Execute against eComm Retailer strategies as set by the Senior Business Development Manager eCommerce, in partnership with the VP Omni Activation, to ensure meeting or exceeding immediate and long-term objectives.
- Align on the new top growth accounts to deliver incremental volume to the eCommerce team & build relationships with these customers.
Direct and Drive JBP Partnership at Appropriate Levels of Customers:
- New Items: Deliver new item objectives.
- Pricing: Manage everyday pricing within GTMS.
- Execute assortment initiatives as set forth by DMFC.
- Analyze business and find white space, story-telling to support sell in.
- Drive market share in select categories and sub-categories in line with Corporate objectives.
- Partner with demand planning on addressing and planning for the unique demands in forecasting the eCommerce business.
- Effectively engage and leverage cross functional resources (HQ Business Unit, Cutomer Planning and Insights, Finance, Supply Chain) to achieve/exceed business objectives with assigned customers.
- Influence the trade and promotional plan for our customers that meets Del Monte go-to-market-strategy with an eCommerce lead approach.
Development
- Deliver consumption, share and sales growth targets for Del Monte within the Retail.com accounts.
- Lead the Business Units, Sales Planning, Operations on the eCommerce needs of the Customers.
- Provide insights on emerging trends, technologies and capabilities in the eCommerce space and execute against them.
