This summer intern position will join the Pursuit Enablement team that is part of the larger Defense Business Development team.  This is a great opportunity to work with various functions, across the business, sharpen skill sets around business data analytics while also building strong networks across the company.

What You Will Do:

• Perform research and analysis to support multiple business development projects
• Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data
• Help refine processes and launch new initiatives / tools
• Process management to support hardware inventory management
• Event management to include planning and logistical support to the tradeshow team
• May perform additional projects upon request

What You Will Learn:

• Receive high-caliber training, mentoring, and guidance from your manager and team while building a Collins network
• Learn about our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool - Salesforce
• Learn reporting and data analytics
• Obtain Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) apprentice certification

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Pursuing a data analytics, computer science or business degree
• Must be well organized and able to manage multiple projects
• Experience in Microsoft tools, specifically with Excel and Powerpoint
