Business Controller / FP&A Manager 

Portland, OR | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Now, we’re looking for a Business Controller / FP&A Manager to play a key role in shaping the financial future of our business. This position is ideal for someone who loves turning numbers into strategy — someone with the curiosity to dig deep into data and the confidence to drive impactful decisions across the organization. 

 

What You’ll Do 

• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic business decisions. 

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to evaluate programs that increase sales, market share, and profitability. 

• Monitor factory and supply chain performance and provide regular financial insights to management. 

• Support long-term and annual business planning processes, identifying cost optimization and growth opportunities. 

• Build and maintain financial models and forecasts to guide strategic decisions. 

• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business health and performance. 

• Analyze market trends, benchmarks, and competitive data to support business strategy. 

• Prepare and present clear, actionable financial reports for senior leadership. 

• Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen financial best practices and decision-making across teams. 

 

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, business control, or FP&A. 

• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI). 

• Experience with ERP and financial systems such as SAP or Oracle. 

• Solid understanding of IFRS accounting principles. 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights. 

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time.
