In this role, you’ll work across the organization to analyze business continuity risk and ensure we’re prepared for the unexpected— protecting the business, our people, and our customers.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Business Continuity Analyst, you’ll play a lead role in designing, maintaining, and evolving Sentry’s business continuity strategies. Your work will ensure that our critical operations continue seamlessly—even in times of disruption.
You will:
- Assist functional areas with the development of business impact analyses and business continuity plans to sustain operations during downtime and/or major disasters.
- Participate in scheduling exercises to maximize team cohesion and preparedness.
- Conduct exercises of functional area plans and evaluate exercises.
- Develop and maintain a rapport with all pertinent departments and business functions to remain aware of business risk criteria and support the company’s preparedness for a disaster.
- Participate in exercising the Crisis Management Team, Crisis Communications Team and Cyber Security Incident Response Team.
- Prepare responses and reports, implement recommendations, and ensure that corrective actions are accomplished by designated target completion dates.
- Provide administrative support for business continuity management platform by adding users, maintaining system workflows, and troubleshooting any issues that arise with the software.
Additionally, you will:
- Collaborate with Sentry’s corporate learning team, assist in the development and implementation business resilience related training.
- Assist Senior Business Continuity Analyst in providing input on business continuity management objectives, types of exercises performed, and exercise results/improvements.
- Assist stakeholders, such as Internal Audit, Enterprise Compliance, State Auditors, Disaster Recovery, etc., by collaborating during discussions and providing details of our business continuity program as requested.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
What it Takes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years of related work experience in business continuity management, risk management, emergency management or related field
- Four years of related work experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and influence across departments.
- Strong communication, facilitation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting business continuity training, exercises, or real-world activations a plus.
