Business Applications Specialist, DCD-Pro

Essential Job Functions

• Identifies process gaps. Recommends and implements process improvement.
• Meets with clients regularly. Must have excellent presentation skills.
• Establishes baseline requirements and implements application configuration
• Create SOP, WI and Training Materials.
• Complete UAT for and with Operations.
• Use advance analytics to understand the business & drive continuous improvement
• Actively supports the sales process.
• Utilizes best tools and methods to support a variety of data analysis projects
• Effectively interacts with customers, Sales, and Operations to create value propositions.
• Liaison between functional groups – Operations, Sales, Clients, and other Engineers.
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus 
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, some light lifting may be required in some instances.   
• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or equivalent
• MBA and/or Industrial Engineering favored
• Minimum of two years of related experience

Other Skills and Abilities

• Technical aptitude: Microsoft Office, Excel (vlookup and pivots), Data visualization including PowerBI, Tableau, and Spotfire, Transportation Analysis Tools, Transportation/Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Visio, Network analysis tools, Simulation, and Inventory tools

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
