Job Description:

Department Overview:

The Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) team is responsible for securing the experience of all enterprise customer interactions across the organization through our distribution channels. Our team is responsible for enabling our colleagues and platforms that interact with customers by providing secure authentication capabilities that drive a positive customer experience. The Exam and Risk Management Programs will work closely with Protect Platform 1B, Legal, AML, Compliance, Privacy, Regulatory Risk, Audit, and Operational Risk Management to oversee all CIAM business and project risks and deliverables.

As the business lead and functional business expert, the Business Application Specialist, manages a diverse portfolio of business application management activities. Acts as a business lead and functional business specialist; provides input and executes on strategies, roadmaps, forecasts and manages relationships with technology, business consumers.

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate

  • 7+ years relevant experience

  • Advanced knowledge of businesses supported, applications supported, bank's PDLC methodology, business testing, project management, change management and governance standards

  • Knowledge of function policies, procedures and practices

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required

  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends

  • Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques

  • Skill in mentoring/coaching others

  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office 

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships

  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions

  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Ability to contribute to strategic direction of the function and provide advice to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.

  • NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), ITIL, Cloud

  • IT Risk and controls background (experience in Audit or lines of defense processes).

  • Advanced knowledge of the business and technology standards

  • IAM understanding (IAM products, relevant technology, and industry best practices).

  • Demonstrated ability to assess priorities quickly and adapt as needed.

  • Prior experience with building pRCSA's

  • Works autonomously as the lead and guides others within area of expertise.

  • Strong organizational awareness with an ability to influence outside of a direct reporting relationship by balancing viewpoints of various stakeholders
