Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos is seeking a Business Analyst with experience in analyzing business processes. Ability to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of projects. Conducts research and prepares reports to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. Experience developing interactive dashboards, visualizing complex datasets, and deriving meaningful business insights using Tableau, Excel, and SSRS.

This position will be 100% on-site at our HQ in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for new initiatives, enhancements, and system integrations.
• Coordinates schedules and task assignments for complex projects by following proper project management practices with some guidance from management
• Collect, organize and analyze data from various sources to meaningfully support and influence decision-making and identify insights.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates in a clear and compelling format to both technical and non-technical audience.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports from a range of available sources

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree
• 1+ year's experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry
• Experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and BI best practices
• Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as SSRS/Tableau/Excel
• Proficiency in MS suite- Visio, Access, Power Point, Excel, and Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level, including: pivot tables, index/match, VLOOKUP, data links, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects
