Business Analyst

Responsibilities

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support contract and program requirements for a USAF Air Combat Command contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, analyzing and reporting on various quality metrics for government and program reports and performance monitoring.  This role requires expertise in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, precise data handling in Microsoft Excel format and efficiency in using other MS Office products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Collect and analyze data to document contractor progress towards contract objectives.
• Prepare detailed status reports covering technical activities, project status, inventory status, and meeting minutes among other reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure clarity and compliance in all deliverables and reports.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8 years as a Business Analyst or similar role within a government contracting environment, preferably DoD (6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate data for reporting purposes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Secret security clearance or higher.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of government contracting practices and regulations preferred.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
