Job Summary:    

The Global Delivery Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on key metrics and data related to the business, as well as creating insightful and visually appealing dashboards using Excel and Power BI. They analyze, interpret, and validate data, as well as identify trends, and provide valuable insights that support employee, department, and company goals and strategies. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Human Resources, Finance, and Operations, they gain a deep understanding of our key business data and metrics that align with company and department objectives.  Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion, while maintaining a collaborative approach.  

  

Responsibilities:  

  • Develops and maintains standard reports using data from multiple sources.  

  • Assists with data validation, testing, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and completeness.  

  • Conducts regular audits to ensure data integrity and security.  

  • Communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.  

  • Extracts and manipulates data from various systems and databases as needed.   

  • Identifies relationships and trends in data to uncover insightful findings and perform root cause analysis.  

  • Identifies data gaps and develops methods and processes to gather missing data, working closely with various business stakeholders.  

  • Owns the end-to-end process of data gathering, tracking, quality checks, monitoring, and reporting.  

  • Creates meaningful visualizations and dashboards to drive informed decision-making utilizing tools such as Power BI and Excel. 

  

Required Skills:  

  • Knowledgeable in financial and data metrics analysis. 

  • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.  

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables, xlookup, vlookup, complex formulas, etc).  

  • Experience working with complex data sets and relational databases.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key trends and insights.  

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.  

  • Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.  

  • Ability to excel in a highly matrixed organization.  

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.  

  

Education and Experience:    

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Huaman Resource Management, or a related field.  

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in financial and data metric analysis and Excel/Power BI dashboard reporting.
