About the role

Job Summary

Aptive is currently seeking an analyst to support the Civilian Health account in its service delivery andbusiness development goals. In this role, you will assist in the management of various projects within thehealth space, support business development efforts, and help drive growth by contributing to proposalefforts, project coordination, and strategic outreach. This position provides an excellent opportunity to learnand grow in the government contracting industry.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Support may include:

• Assist project managers with tracking project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.• Prepare and maintain project documentation, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.• Coordinate communication between internal teams and government clients.• Help with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and organizing project-related activities.• Support project reporting, including creating status updates and contributing to progress reports.

 

Business Development Support:

• Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and conducting market research.• Support the development of proposals, including compiling data, formatting documents, and gathering relevant information.• Track and analyze competitor activity and market trends.• Assist in preparing presentations and client-facing materials.• Help maintain relationships with current and potential clients, ensuring a strong network.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, or a related field.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).• Familiarity with government contracting terminology and processes is a plus, but not required.• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with proposal writing or market research.• Knowledge of government procurement systems (e.g., SAM.gov, FedBizOpps).• Strong analytical and research skills.• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
