Job Description
What’s the opportunity?
As part of our global Business Analyst (BA) Team, you’ll support North America for their data analysis needs. You will help the leaders of North America contextualize data from Sales CRM systems, ERP systems, Support systems, and more. The data insights you provide will help drive the business forward, validate and challenge business strategies, and help our organization execute at scale.
Create a functioning focus group: The BA is required to form a productive and collegiate group of stakeholders relevant to their assigned key results area (KRA). Through diligent planning, strong interpersonal skills and making a positive impact on the business the BA will be a respected and powerful agent for change.
Drive meaningful change: The BA is required to be ambitious and to drive meaningful change in the business. Through their activities lives will be saved, communities improved and financial outcomes for the business will be achieved.
Work as BA team: The BA is expected to operate as a consulting team, leveraging each other's skill sets, experience to enhance each other’s efforts and our outcomes.
Linewize by Family Zone is a global organization with customers across the world and operations in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, the UK & Spain. The BA role operates across all of our global operations requiring unusual work-hours from time to time.
This role can be based in San Diego, Charlotte or US remote
Here’s how you’ll do it:
- Act as the internal business consultant and driver of change in our business - The BA is assigned responsibility for measuring performance and driving improvement within our key result areas (KRA).
- Operates independent of our formal line management structure - you will work with and for the (executive) Focus Group Owner to drive measurement and change across all aspects of the business relevant to the KRA.
- You’ll be a business generalist with a business consulting mindset - knowledge and skills across accounting, planning, project management, data querying, data analysis and change management.
- Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills - you’ll need to drive change across the breadth of the business without line-management authority.
- The BA will utilize their analysis, knowledge and inter personal skills to formulate a course of action and facilitate its execution.
- Leader of the KR Focus Group including setting and managing the agenda and capturing and expediting agreed actions/initiatives.
Qualifications

- Ability/willingness to learn and adapt to a fast paced environment and rapidly evolving business needs.
- Experience of evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, challenging status quo, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions and change management.
- Evaluating opportunities for change and supporting the business with insights necessary to prioritize and calibrate decisions.
- Effective communication with insights and plans to cross-functional team members , team leaders and management.
- Ability to work with the finance and engineering teams to source and facilitate required ongoing management reporting relevant to the KRA
- Project management of new systems, tools and processes.
- Be able to provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence.
- Strong process analysis and re-engineering skills.
- Experience in creating and presenting business analysis, plans and reports.
- Strong business application skills, particularly in Google G Suite / Workspace
- Experience in using ERPs and business intelligence tools.
- High attention to detail, diligence and follow-through.
