Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Intern for the Office of the Dean of Students will assist in outreach to and support of students who need additional resources in their efforts to earn a college degree. They will also assist in academic coaching, mentoring students, and communication with students receiving the foster/adopted tuition waiver. This intern will be an undergraduate student in EKU's Bachelors in Social Work program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current EKU undergraduate student in good academic standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EKU undergraduate student in the Bachelors in Social Work program.

Job Duties:

• 30% - Academic Coaching and Mentoring - (Essential)
• 25% - Providing referrals and communication with students - (Essential)
• 25% - Research and updating data - (Essential)
• 20% - Office assistance, receiving and answering questions - (Essential)
