About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize database architectures (Oracle, PostgreSQL) for high-availability payment systems at scale
- Lead infrastructure engineering projects involving multiple technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Architect, deploy, and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform at enterprise scale
- Drive capacity planning, performance optimization, and disaster recovery strategies
- Monitor and optimize system performance using advanced observability tools (Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Identify and resolve complex infrastructure issues; escalate appropriately and mentor team members
- Partner with development and operations teams to ensure systems scale reliably and securely
- Lead technical assessments for migration across cloud platforms and on-premises environments
- Ensure compliance and security standards across all infrastructure components
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
- 6-7 years of infrastructure engineering or DevOps/SRE experience
- Expert-level knowledge of relational databases (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
- Advanced proficiency with AWS and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proven experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud migration strategies
- Strong knowledge of high-availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
