Position Summary & Objective
Brand Protection Analysts identify instances of online brand abuse and remove infringing content. Trend recognition is used to assist clients with recapturing profits, protect their brand identity and limit brand dilution.
Essential Functions Performed by the Position
- Leverage patented technologies to detect brand infringements, analyze, enforce, and effectively remove infringing online content
- Establish client relationship to understand their business priorities and brand specifics to successfully remove online threats and deliver expected services
- Analyze large, complex datasets to support decision making
- Generate analytical reports summarizing client brand protection landscape and services delivered
- Collaborate with global team members to address client requests and ad-hoc projects
- Perform other reasonable tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Mid to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables/charts)
- Ability to work and make decisions independently as well as with a team
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to leverage data to drive independent decision making and make client recommendations
- Attention to detail and strong sense of ownership for project and account outcomes
- Highest level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately
- Ability to understand intellectual property infringement and accomplish client needs within legal parameters
- Professional written and verbal communication skills for internal and external communications
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired
- 1+ years professional experience in analytical reporting, corporate client services, account management, trademark/copyright law, online marketing, or similar field
- Client management experience including use of CRM tool (Salesforce) preferred
- Familiarity with IP law, grey market issues, and/or internet technologies is a plus
- Fluency in foreign language(s) is a plus
