Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the complete financial operations for a thriving property management company while supporting key administrative functions. You’ll serve as the financial backbone of the organization, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through comprehensive bank reconciliation processes
- Handle tax declaration processes and ensure full regulatory compliance
- Manage the complete invoicing cycle, sending out client invoices and tracking accounts receivable
- Process vendor payments and maintain organized accounts payable systems
- Prepare detailed financial reports and organize critical company documents
- Support various administrative functions including document management and report preparation
- Collaborate directly with the leadership team for ongoing training and process optimization
- Maintain and update QuickBooks records with precision and attention to detail
- Contribute to operational efficiency through proactive administrative support
Requirements
- 3-4 years of proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (this is essential for success in the role)
- Experience with Canadian bookkeeping practices and regulations strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively during Eastern Standard Time business hours
- Excellent English communication skills for seamless collaboration
- Demonstrated experience working with international companies, particularly in North America
- Strong track record managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational abilities
