Position Summary: 

2024 Internship Program – it’s 12 weeks.

Starts May 28, thru August 16th, 2024 (must be an active student enrolled in Graduate or Under Graduate Program)

The Boeing Distribution Services Product Line organization is responsible for the market segment analysis and product strategy development by customer segmentation, new supplier/product portfolio growth target identification. The go-to market plan specifically on launch and execution of the CapPlug and Pacific Tool products.

 

Key Learning Outcomes:

 

This project will focus on overall Contract Performance by managing performance OTD, resource management and pipeline health review.

 

The project is related to building a process for identifying excess inventory tied to our CPM customers and helping build a process to more easily catch excess inventory as it occurs, driving important conversations with our customers. The intern will also assist in helping build out our Profit-Loss level reporting views for CPM customers. Other ad hoc projects related to key business metrics may be in scope.

Tasks may include querying and analyzing large data sets; data cleansing and transformation; analyzing the datasets and merging into larger datasets; process mapping; presenting to cross-functional support and leadership.

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Junior, Senior or Graduate level students
• Must be enrolled in a 4-year Degree program aligned with critical talent areas (i.e. Data Science or Business Analytics, Computer Science)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to manage a project and understand KPIs and overall business acumen
• Understanding flow charts and process mapping
• Detailed-oriented individual
• Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Excel (advanced, MS Word and PowerPoint) plus proficient in SQL and database management
• Ability to create presentations and excellent presentation skills
• Collaborate cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability analyze large amounts of data and report on findings
