The McCrone Lab is seeking a Bioinformatics Analyst I/II to support our research in computational biology. The lab conducts cutting-edge research in the areas of viral evolution and transmission dynamics. The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the field of genomic epidemiology well into the future. The growth of genomic datasets has outpaced the development of tractable approaches that can utilize these rich resources. Our goal is to use these resources to understand viral evolution and transmission at the level of individuals. The analyst will support this goal by analyzing large genomic datasets and support others in similar analyses. This position reports to the Principal Investigator.

At Fred Hutch, all employees are expected to demonstrate a commitment to our values of collaboration, compassion, determination, excellence, innovation, integrity, and respect.
