Billing Representative | Full Time | Patient Accounts

Work Schedule

• Full Time | 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Monday - Friday

Requirements / Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Prior experience with medical billing is desirable, especially with Medicare and Medicare HMO
• Good computer and calculator skills required

Responsibilities

• Completes billing for different payer classes
• Maintains awareness of changing policies for each carrier
• Works with others in the department to lower accounts receivable days
• Researches all information to complete the billing process in a timely manner
