Job Summary:
Develop Code from Healthcare Data
Senior Level – 80% | Principal Level – 70%
Expertly navigate electronic medical record databases.
Develop SQL queries for high-quality datasets and data marts.
Verify HIPAA and mulit-institutional compliance requirements are complete before delivering data.
Record and maintain accurate project documentation through the Compass case management system.
Act as a business intelligence and data analytics subject matter expert.
Customer Service – 20%
Lead customer engagement, scoping, and documentation for data requests.
Ensure project scope, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
Identify and communicate data anomalies in a timely manner.
Direct users to appropriate resources for storage and computing needs.
Team Collaboration – 10% (Principal Level)
Mentor and support other members of the Data Delivery team.
Enhance data delivery processes and refine organizational policies to align with industry best practices.
Facilitate code reviews, mentor junior BI Developers, and share expertise to promote team skill development.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot data quality issues and validate new data sources.
Work Location:
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
