BI and Analytics Lead

Dogs' life expectancy hasn't improved in decades - we are here to change this. We are keeping dogs safe by allowing owners to keep track of their whereabouts. We are keeping dogs healthy by showing owners how much they should exercise and keep them accountable. We also monitor health patterns like sleep and overall balance of activity versus resting patterns.

Fi is looking for a BI & Analytics Lead!

• You have 4+ years of experience working in data science, 2+ years of experience in a director-level role preferred 
• You are obsessed with building complex data analysis and visualization on unique datasets
• You are fluent in data transformation and are familiar with ETL/ELT best practices
• You have experience designing data infrastructure and pipelines
• You understand the importance of collaborating with key stakeholders across all departments to act as the resident data analysis expert

Responsibilities

• Team Management: As BI & Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for a team of 4 Data Analysts, overseeing their pipeline and ensuring their success. Your role will involve acting as data master; being a reliable resource for analysts on your team, as well as executives across various departments.
• Data Visualization and Analysis: Drawing on your experience in data science and business intelligence, you will build and design data infrastructure and pipelines, engaging in deep analysis about financials and operational metrics across all departments.
• Cross Functional Leadership: As a quick learner with strong perception skills, you will serve as the face of data and business analytics for the company, requiring you to be approachable and easy to work with.
