The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is seeking a Business Solutions Technical Team Lead to act as the technical lead of the BGS Business Solutions business intelligence and analytics team.

This individual’s primary responsibility will be to lead a team of technical developers in the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions, while also acting as a technical expert and mentor. This role combines technical expertise with leadership qualities, ensuring the successful delivery of BI projects and the development of a high-performing BI team. The team member's success hinges upon the ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders, understanding existing data, and partnering to develop solutions that will drive business results.

The mission of the BGS Digital Solutions team is to deliver performance insights to enable efficient operations, better decision-making, and operations planning. The resulting data timeliness, accuracy, and ease of access improves performance awareness and accountability across all organization levels. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leadership – leading and mentoring technical team members, providing guidance and support.  Assist leadership in setting strategy and vision for technical offerings.

• Technical Guidance – providing technical guidance and support of team members

• Solution Design and Implementation – designing and implementing solutions that meet business requirements and part of a team that rolls out new functionality to existing programs

• Technical Expertise - source production data to create tableau dashboards to support BGS Business, ability to create tables, stored procedures, and jobs in SSMS, assess data needs of various functions/programs.

• Continuous Improvement - receive and incorporate feedback from users to make improvements.  Work on miscellaneous projects that reduce cost, optimize production, eliminate waste, etc.

• Stakeholder Relationship - work closely with business partners to ensure the right initiatives are being prioritized.  Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers.

• Staying Current – keeping up-to-date with the latest BI technologies. 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 3+ years experience in leading technical teams

• 3+ years experience working with Data analytics

• 3+ years experience creating dashboards with Tableau and creating metrics that matter

• 3+ years of experience using SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors Degree or Higher

• Technical experience including: HCL/Leap, React, Java, JavaScript

• Flexible, reliable, self-motivated team player with ability to work independently

• Ability to communicate effectively to senior levels of management
