About the Role

As Product Manager for Orchestration and Extensibility, you will be at the forefront of empowering our customers to customize, orchestrate, and scale their data workflows effortlessly. Your work will focus on enhancing Fivetran’s transformations, orchestration, and extensibility features, ensuring users can adapt the platform to meet their unique business and technical needs. From refining orchestration workflows to delivering powerful API and SDK capabilities, you’ll create tools that simplify complex data operations.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, UX design, and go-to-market teams to deliver features that make data transformation intuitive and extensibility seamless. This is a high-visibility role with significant impact—directly shaping how Fivetran integrates into the modern data stack and helping customers unlock the full potential of their data.

This is a full-time position based out of our Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fivetran’s orchestration and extensibility features.
  • Work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify user pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build features and enhancements that grow adoption of Fivetran’s transformations offerings and enable deeper platform extensibility.
  • Monitor usage analytics and customer feedback to refine features and ensure alignment with user needs.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to effectively launch new capabilities and educate users about their benefits.
  • Stay informed about trends in data transformations, developer tools, and extensibility to keep Fivetran at the forefront of innovation.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Experience in product management, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments.
  • Experience building products that cater to technical users, such as developers, analysts, or data engineers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver impactful product enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of user needs, with experience gathering and synthesizing customer feedback.
  • Comfortable working on both frontend features (e.g., UI for transformations) and backend systems (e.g., APIs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Bonus Skills​

  • Experience with data pipelines, transformations, or ELT workflows.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, SDKs, or open-source projects.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or analytics destinations (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience building data products.
