Job Description
THE POSITION:
The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for guiding and overseeing the day to day clinical operations of the Clinical Nurse Coordinators, Clinical Nursing Supervisor, and/or Medical Necessity Appeals Nurses. The Clinical Nurse Manager develops appropriate clinical guidelines to ensure quality patient care is provided in accordance with state and federal guidelines, as well as contractual obligations. They collaborate with care team leadership, support the development of program services, policies and procedures, and ensure high levels of patient and client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Promote client satisfaction by ensuring compliance to program services, policies and contractual obligations
- Establish workflow, work methods and performance standards for the clinical team. Participate in developing clinical standards and guidelines based on best practice and evidence based medical care which will ensure safe and therapeutically effective service to our patients
- Ensure work is accomplished effectively by managing employee performance, work processes and other resources
- Monitor daily operational performance relating to operating metrics, quality measurements and contractual requirements, ensuring the team works within their scope of practice and within department budget
- Collaborate with patient Care Team leadership to ensure delivery of quality patient care
- All other duties as assigned

- Provide leadership, resource abilities and advanced clinical knowledge to ensure high levels patient care and satisfaction
- Conduct training and evaluation of clinical nursing staff
- Interview, select and supervise the activities of the clinical nursing staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures
- Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives with each employee
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- To promote client satisfaction by ensuring compliance to program services, policies and contractual obligations
- Set clear direction, effective plans and measurable outcomes
- Coordinate activities with finance team and Clinical Nurse Coordinators to manage Field Infusion Nurses, who are responsible for onboarding new patients and coordinating and providing home infusion services for new and active patients
- Understand the processing of clinical appeals as needed, be able to cross train associates in Medical Necessity Appeals.
