The Director of Client Onboarding & Group Configuration is responsible for overseeing all activities associated with strategic management of customer onboarding, group/contract setup, and related project management. This position will work to ensure effective and efficient operations, including maintaining employee and system application productivity and quality of work, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet business goals and facilitate accurate invoice, claims, and enrollment processing for all customers.
• Through leadership of multiple managers and their teams, oversees the implementation and onboarding of clients, including group configurations and contract setup.
• Ensures all department activities and processes are aligned with and in service of our customers, focusing on end-to-end results that enable accurate enrollment loading, claims processing and invoice generation.
• Guides the feasibility and marketplace delivery teams in their evaluations and analysis.
• Engages in strategic planning, aligning enterprise business activities and developing innovative solutions to enhance delivery of onboarding and configuration solutions.
• Develops, plans, and executes strategies that align with enterprise and departmental goals.
• Provides recommendations to senior leaders on large, high-profile, or complex onboarding scenarios.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements continuous process improvements, focusing on customer experience and expectations.
• Establishes and strengthens relationships with various stakeholders, particularly in Relationship and Business Development (RBD), and identifies opportunities for team collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develops, monitors, and reconciles an annual operating plan and budget; identifies variances and takes corrective actions as appropriate.
• Formulates policies, procedures, and standards in support of regulatory and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
• 12+ years w/Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years management
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement
• Ability to prepare and manage budgets
• Ability to think strategically
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Strong public speaking and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of project development life cycle, including the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 24. $122,400 - $265,100
