Detailed Description:

The Department of Marketing seeks trained professionals in the area of Creative Design, capable of teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. Topics should include: branding & storytelling, color theory, composition, visual hierarchy, typography, Adobe Creative Suite, among others. Assignments to these courses are considered lecturer and non-benefit based. Each course consists of 3 units of teaching credit and the maximum allowable for each non-benefits based instructor is 6 units. Periodic need during the following terms: Fall (Sept-Dec), and Spring (end Jan-May).  Compensation for the fiscal year 2025-26 (i.e. Summer 2024 through Spring 2025) will be at least $3,515 per unit.

Degree Verification Requirement: Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes. 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and experience in Creative Design, capable of teaching both undergraduate and graduate students is required.

Posting Salary:

$3,515-$3,620/ per unit

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position.  Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
