Role and responsibilities IV Infusion and Wellness Center Medical Professional (NP)

Nova Vita Wellness Centers (novavitacare.com) is seeking a talented full-time Nurse Practitioner to perform IV therapies, consults, and outpatient procedures for patients at our center in Austin, TX. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people relieve symptoms and optimize their health.

Responsibilities include:

• Rendering therapies including IV infusions, IM booster shots, and other treatments offered by the facility
• Performing Telehealth visits for at home treatment therapies
• Determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment, and adjust treatment if necessary
• Perform consultations and advise on suitable treatment plan
• Prescribe and dispense medications as directed and approved by medical director
• Monitor and report inventory requirements for daily operation
• Maintaining an orderly configuration for the storage of supplies, including vial expiration and sufficient levels of the required supply
• Timely submission of charting and documentation requirements for each client
• Providing clear patient instructions and education
• Creating a positive, relaxing & professional environment
• Ability to work well with a supportive team
• Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends
• Arrive on time to scheduled shifts and maintain an established standard of pace for services
• Other duties, events, and activities related to clinic growth

Qualifications and education requirements:

• NP license in good standing, DEA license
• Expert IV insertion and management skills
• Ability to perform outpatient procedures
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
• BLS and ACLS required
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to get anyone talking
• Part Time, full time

Preferred skills:

• Fun and easy-going personality with the ability to engage our clients during each appointment
• Prior experience with minor procedures, pellet insertion.
• Ability to educate population on the benefits of wellness through multiple modalities
