We are looking for a Full- Time Certified Home Health Aide to join our team of dedicated Home Health clinicians in the Citrus Heights area!

Compensation: $25-$28/hour DOE!

Certified Home Health Aide responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Demonstrate ability read, write and follow directions.
• Demonstrate ability to work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff.
• Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude.
• Follow the instructions of the professional nurse/therapist in providing care.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Perform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in the care plans).
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings
• Report patient complaints to the RN.
• Maintain patient confidentiality/adheres to HIPAA requirements and agency policy and procedures manual.
• Possess the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Report abnormal findings in patient's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.
• Perform the various other tasks when delegated by the RN

Requirements

 Please note: in order to qualify for this position, you must hold a state-issued certification as a Home Health Aide. Please mention in your resume that you are a Certified Home Health Aide.

• Prior Home Health experience is preferred!
• Electronic charting experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards are a plus!
• Intermediate Computer skills are also a plus!

• Be certified by the State of California
• Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
• Current Automobile Insurance and current CPR
