The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Care Manager, UNLV Student Wellness, Student Health Center [R0149447]

ROLE of the POSITION

The Student Wellness Care Manager position provides on-site support and care coordination for students utilizing services at the Student Wellness Center. The Student Wellness Center consists of the Student Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Student Health Center (SHC), and the Behavioral Health Team. Responsibilities include the provision of community and campus resources, management of the referral process, coordination with pharmaceutical programs, contact with students after return from voluntary health withdrawal with the goal of improving student retention, consultation with providers, and participation in clinical team meetings. The Care Manager develops relationships with on and off campus resources and participates in various administrative duties such as committee membership, revision of policies and procedures, and report writing. The Care Manager also provides oversight and supervision for graduate assistants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Services, Public Health, or a related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university. A minimum of one year of related professional experience is required.  Licensure at the master’s level upon hire is preferred, but required within 6 months of start date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Case management experience preferred.
