The candidate should be an effective business partner to bring transformation experience and hands-on procurement skills to assist in establishing the procurement function to a best-in-class level.</p> <p>The business is emerging after a strong organic growth that has opened up more opportunities to shift to a formal procurement function. There is a need to adapt to new ways of working, find synergies between business processes and look for new opportunities that deliver tangible results. Your remit will cover a wide portfolio of Technology Software, Gaming and PSP spend.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong>Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and lead the procurement of all the company’s supplier contracts for specific categories; </li> <li>Identify and manage contract negotiations, ensuring price, quality and service targets exceed business expectations;</li> <li>Manage the sourcing cycle and building strong relationships with suppliers (high volume of tendering and multiple stakeholders to engage with);</li> <li>Develop savings ideas and define robust and appropriate savings plans;</li> <li>Promote innovation, bring in breakthrough ideas and best-in-class approaches.</li> </ul> <p><strong>People</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and manage the relationship with key stakeholders including technology, gaming office management, trading, finance, etc.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Change</strong></p> <ul> <li>Critically assess processes and lead improvement changes where appropriate.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p>The ideal candidate must be forward-thinking and have a strategic mindset with proven results from development to execution. You must be adaptable, tenacious and have an appetite for change and most of all be comfortable delivering in a cost-focused environment</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement within a Technology / Fin Tech / Telecoms / fast-paced industry organization;</li> <li>University Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Finance, or other relevant discipline.
