Security Officer - Front Desk Operations

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Operations in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will create a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will assist employees and visitors, monitor entry activity, and help maintain a secure environment through attentive customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as required.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity from a stationary front desk post to help deter unauthorized entry and support a professional lobby environment.
• Communicate clearly with clients, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
