We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Team Lead to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte.

We are seeking a Suppy Chain Planning Team Lead to work at our Wyandotte, MI site in support of our Cellasto Business.  You will lead a team of Supply Chain Professionals responsible for domestic production onsite, procurement of purchased materials for assembly and resale, raw material planning, and management of tolling entries in SAP.  You will coordinate the team’s activities to align with our global operational planning objectives and expectations.  Teamwork with all departments will be key to your success with meeting our strict automotive customer requirements.

  • Leading a team of site Supply Chain Planners, you will develop a long-term supply network plan through to detailed planning, and schedule raw material planning in support of key assets in the region.
  • Utilizing your SAP experience, you will bring forth new ways of working for short term production planning for ease of day to day activities
  • Leveraging your educational and professional background in a Product Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Care, or Operations role, you will manage all product availability/inventory and service levels (internal and external) for the entire Global and/or Regional portfolio.
  • Successfully engaging across the business, you will interact with Operational Service Platform functions including Business Management, Customer Care, Foreign Trade, Inter-Regional Supply chain, and other business units. 
  • Providing your strong business acumen to maintain Supply Chain performance metrics and identify and implement solutions with appropriate removals.

If you...

 

 Possess a Bachelor’s Degree required in Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Business Administration. (Supply Chain preferred)

• Have 5 years of automotive experience (preferred)

• Hold 5 years of SAP Planning experience

Are able to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance.

• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Have demonstrated leadership skills with focus on relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.

• Have experience leading a team (preferred)

• Are proficient with SAP and  MS Office.
