Backed by the strength of Telia, a climate leader in the Nordics and Baltics, we combine <b>innovation</b>, <b>sustainability</b>, and a passion for <b>cutting-edge technology</b> to help our teams thrive and make our customers happy!</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>As a</span></b> <b>Senior Backend Developer you will...</b></p><p></p><p><b>Architect and build</b> cloud-native, scalable backend solutions using <b>Java</b> (Spring Boot, Spring Security) that power TeliaPlay’s key features. <b>Lead cloud deployments</b> by designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure on <b>AWS</b> (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) while leveraging <b>Kubernetes, Helm</b>, and <b>Docker</b> to ensure a robust microservices architecture. <b>Collaborate with cross-functional experts</b> - DevOps, PM, and BA - to solve technical challenges, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and deliver seamless user experiences. <b>Champion best practices</b> by integrating security, performance optimization, and monitoring from day one, driving code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring clean, testable code. <b>Shape APIs</b> by crafting RESTful APIs for both internal and customer-facing platforms and building scalable integrations without compromising quality or performance.</p><p></p><p><b>Who we’re looking for</b></p><p></p><p>With over <b>5 years</b> of professional backend development experience in <b>Java</b> (Java 17+), you bring a solid track record of using <b>AWS</b> services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda to set up secure cloud environments. You possess <b>hands-on</b> expertise in <b>Docker</b> and container orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes, ideally <b>Amazon EKS</b>, and have experience using <b>Helm</b> to manage and deploy Kubernetes applications. Your familiarity with microservices architectures, event-driven systems, or both, complements your proficiency with <b>CI/CD</b> tools like <b>GitHub</b> Actions and DevOps practices.</p><p>Additionally, you have <b>LLM </b>experience with various models, with a bonus if you bring insights into integrating AI into backend solutions. You demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, whether discussing architecture or debugging live issues.
