The Senior Business Administrator/Business Administrator B is an integral member of the Market Street Regional Business Office (MSRBO) within the School of Arts and Sciences. The Market Street RBO supports the unique business needs of 26 departments, programs and centers. This position provides financial and administrative support to staff and program directors in the areas of financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and transaction processing, with accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement in the forefront. The Business Administrator B (BA-B) will carry out a broad range of operational and transactional responsibilities, including HR and payroll, procurement, expense reimbursements, expense approvals, and individual service provider payments. Workday payroll responsibilities include instructional payroll, weekly payroll, monthly payroll, one-time payments, time sheet approvals, audit reporting, job requisition creation, and new hire onboarding process completion. Financial management responsibilities include monthly reconciliations for endowment, gift, and operating accounts, financial reporting, budget compliance analysis, and assisting with cyclical budgeting and forecasting. The BA-B is directly responsible for reviewing, processing, and auditing financial transactions, including procurement and payment requests (Penn Marketplace), reimbursements (Concur), purchasing card reallocation (JP Morgan PaymentNet), and journal entries (BEN Financials).
