About the role

Schedule: Part Time Days - 48 hours per pay period - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the clinical team, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality resident care. You will assist licensed nurses and direct care staff, provide leadership during shifts, oversee documentation, mentor team members, and contribute to resident well-being and quality assurance.

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will: 

  • Support Clinical Operations – Assist the clinical team with administrative tasks, supply management, medication audits, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide Leadership and Mentorship – Train and mentor new and existing staff, reinforcing best practices, company policies, and resident-centered care approaches.
  • Act as Shift Lead – Serve as a point of contact for team members, manage resident and staff concerns, and ensure effective communication across departments. 
  • Deliver Direct Resident Care – Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, toileting, meal assistance, and restorative care, ensuring dignity and comfort. 
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality – Maintain accurate documentation, oversee medication administration, participate in quality assurance meetings, and actively problem-solve to improve clinical processes.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. 

This job also requires: 

  • Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a senior care setting is highly valued. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and provide real-time guidance to staff. 
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in documentation and compliance. 
  • Ability to pass state mandated background check.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with staff, residents, and visitors.
