Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.  No relocation is offered.

Overall Purpose: As a Principal, Business Strategy supporting AI transformation within AT&T’s Mass Markets organization, you will serve as a strategic partner to business units and executives - including Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and their teams—to accelerate the adoption and integration of artificial intelligence across the business. You will help define, drive, and execute (in partnership with our technology teams) high-impact initiatives that leverage AI to fuel growth, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Transformation Partnerships: Build strong relationships with officer teams and senior leadership to deeply understand strategic objectives, identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation, and shape the vision for innovation across the organization.
• AI Strategy Development & Implementation: Partner with cross-functional business and technical teams to design, develop, and deploy practical AI solutions. Lead the identification, prioritization, and execution of use cases that advance business goals and deliver tangible results.
• Change Management Leadership: Drive organizational readiness for AI adoption by developing and leading change management strategies. Design and implement communication, training, and engagement programs that prepare teams for new technologies and foster a culture of innovation.
• Strategic Analysis & Business Case Development: Conduct thorough market, industry, and competitor analyses to identify emerging trends and inform decision-making. Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate the impact and potential of AI initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Serve as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders. Develop clear, compelling presentations and materials for executive audiences, presenting recommendations and ensuring alignment throughout project lifecycles.
• Project Leadership & Execution: Lead complex, high-impact projects with minimal oversight, collaborating with both business and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and successful adoption of AI tools and processes.
• Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Champion best practices for AI adoption, change management, and innovation. Mentor and influence peers, sharing expertise to build organizational capability and resilience through transformation.

Success Profile:

• Proven experience in business strategy, transformation, and/or AI adoption in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across technical and business teams, including executive leadership.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Passion for driving change, fostering innovation, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
