Undertakes a broad range of personnel-related functions for the Department of Atlanta Information Management (AIM). Fosters and streamlines communication between AIM and the Department of Human Resources (DHR) by serving as a liaison. Contributes to a company’s culture and employee performance. Maintain and support ongoing reporting and analysis to provide indicators of department performance and trend analyses. Develop reports of Department or external trends/best practices, developments, issues, etc., for use in strategic planning, goal setting, budget development, etc. Participate as a member of department and cross-organization teams to improve processes and productivity. 

Provide excellent customer service and recommendations to leadership regarding the appropriate actions to meet departmental goals. 

Duties at this level include but are not limited to assisting the department’s Chief of Staff (COS) with planning and executing professional tasks in the areas of communication, continuous improvement, diversity, equity, and inclusion, employee experience, training and organizational development, performance management, human resources, and workforce planning; supervising interns; representing the department by attending various meetings and programs that require presentation for the department; and acting as liaison for various occasions. 

This is a professional-level role capable of carrying out most assignments typical of the profession with limited guidance or review. Works under general supervision and is evaluated based on results obtained. Works independently and is responsible for assigned functions, programs, and teams. Maintains confidentiality as required and as appropriate in a professional setting.
