Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the production manager, coordinates and oversee production (people and processes) in accordance with established policies, principles and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES, including but not limited to:

Skilled in the operation of Injection Molding equipment. Sustain the established molding process and cycle time reductions on high cavitation / high volume single face and stack molds. Skilled in the operation of lining and assembly equipment. Sustain the established rates on the finishing machines. Provides direction, training, coaching, and leadership to manufacturing staff (mechanics, utility and service workers, operators, etc) Implements plans for efficient use of resources including materials, equipment and personnel. Troubleshoots and directs repairs to injection and finishing as needed resulting from root cause analysis to determine what actions can be taken immediately and/or what appropriate personnel need to be called.
