Your Role:

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Delivery Systems and Services, a rapidly expanding global business unit within our Electronics business sector. As an integral part of the Business Unit Leadership Team, you, along with your dedicated team of project managers and project engineers, will be responsible for overseeing projects across all three regions (North America & Europe, Asia excl. Korea, Korea). Your team's work is vital for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, notably including large-scale construction projects that significantly bolster our business’ financial goals.   • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a diverse team of project managers and engineers. Foster a collaborative environment, mentor team members, and develop a high-performing global project engineering team.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution and execution of large-scale construction and engineering projects with budgets exceeding $100 million.
  • Strategic Planning and Governance: Oversee the development and implementation of project management strategies aligned with corporate goals. Establish and maintain project governance structures and processes to ensure consistent project delivery.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial integrity.
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Ensure quality standards are met across all project stages.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Manage the organization's project portfolio, ensuring effective allocation of resources and budgets, prioritization of projects, and balancing of workload.
  • Process Improvement and Best Practices: Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure clear communication and reporting on project progress and outcomes tailored to the needs of the different stakeholder.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably for construction and/or engineering projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large, global organization.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with various levels of management and stakeholders. Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams across multiple geographical locations and an understanding of cultural sensitivities.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
  • Additional languages relevant to our business (Mandarin, Taiwanese, Korean) are a plus.
