Senior Product Manager, AI Trust & Safety

Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.</p></div><p>The Senior Product Manager for AI Trust &amp; Safety will own the roadmap and champion the standards to ensure AI experiences in Spring Health’s products are safe and trustworthy. You will shape the definition of 'safe and effective' AI by leading efforts in model evaluation, operational approval gates, and safety measurement, collaborating with engineering, data science, legal, and clinical stakeholders to implement this strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, Customer Value, this hybrid role is based at our San Francisco office (44 Montgomery), with 2-3 days per week in-office required.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the roadmap for the AI Trust &amp; Safety pod, prioritizing and driving investments to continually improve safety across AI experiences in the Spring Health platform.</li> <li>Define a strategy to leverage data to improve performance of AI systems</li> <li>Shape and evangelize the standards for what “safe and effective AI” means in Spring Health’s context</li> <li>Define operational approval gates for AI features before they’re deployed in production</li> <li>Partner with ML engineers and data scientists to scope and prioritize technical work that enables AI safety &amp; trust</li> </ul> <p><strong>What success looks like:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Establish and operationalize robust evaluation protocols for AI-driven features.</li> <li>Achieve measurable improvement in AI interaction safety and reliability metrics.</li> <li>
