JOB TITLE:                   OVERNIGHT COUNSELOR, FULL - TIME

DEPARTMENT:  WELLSVILLE COMMUNITY RESIDENCE – WELLSVILLE, NY
 

HOURS:  Sunday through Thursday - Midnight to 8:00 am
                                   
 
MINIMUM SALARY:   Minimum $19.57 per hour.
 
AVAILABLE:                         ASAP
 
JOB FUNCTION:
 
Supervision of residents in a community residence program during overnight hours. Duties include performing daily household tasks and providing supportive counseling and related therapeutic services to people with mental illness.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Education, Experience, and Knowledge
Required a  high school diploma/GED or higher education.
 
Must possess good written and verbal communication abilities. Customer service skills and/or experience preferred.  
 
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Have a home/cell telephone.
• Be able to travel to and among various facilities that are multi-leveled with stairs only.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Background checks as required by NYS Office of Mental Health
