What You Will Do
- This position is responsible for performing NDT inspections during the process as well as performing in-situ inspections during disassembly and repair process. This position will require practical application of technical knowledge. Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills are needed for a team oriented work environment. This position is a working position requiring the Inspector to dedicate approximately 100% of their time to assist with performing advanced inspection/mechanic duties within their assigned cell. The inspector will be required to support production process, root cause and corrective action implementation, continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in training within the specified work cells.
- Weekend shift Fri-Sun 6:30am - 7pm
- Perform NDT component inspections as required.
- Provide assistance with MES close-out and Gate 1 closure.
- Assist Cell Leader/Ops Tech in meeting production goals and objectives.
- Provide inspection procedures training to other inspectors/mechanics.
- Review workscopes and workscope revisions for compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
- Engine overhaul and repair experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
- NDT Level 1 Certification, NDT Level 2 Certification, Inspection, Disassembly or Assembly.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- 4 years relevant experience preferred
- P/A&P/Repairman License preferred
- Possess a CEC Mechanic/Inspection Stamp
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
