The Opportunity:We’re looking for a hands-on, startup-savvy VP of Finance to lead Warp’s financial strategy and execution. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive budgeting and forecasting, shape investor communications, and build out a first-class FP&A function. This is a critical leadership role for someone excited to dig in, move fast, and help scale a high-growth logistics marketplace.
What You’ll Do: • Own all aspects of financial planning & analysis: budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning • Develop and maintain operating models that support strategic decision-making across departments • Drive investor relations, including board reporting and fundraising materials • Lead due diligence and strategic initiatives related to potential M&A • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on pricing, margin optimization, and unit economics • Ensure financial rigor and discipline as we scale, working closely with our existing controller and accounting team • Build and lead the FP&A function as the company grows
What We’re Looking For: • 7+ years of total experience, with recent experience as a finance leader (VP/CFO) at a venture-backed startup post-Series A • Deep FP&A experience, ideally in a marketplace or transaction-based business • Proven ability to partner with founders, investors, and cross-functional leaders • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a strategic mindset • Experience with board reporting, investor decks, and M&A processes • Gritty, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Based in or willing to travel to Los Angeles on a recurring basis • A work-hard mentality and drive to win
Nice to Haves: • Background in logistics, supply chain, or freight tech • Experience scaling a startup from Series A through Series B/C
Compensation: Competitive base + performance bonus + equity
