Senior Tax Associate - Private Client Group

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our Private Client Services team. The individual will work closely with partners, managers and clients with tax compliance and planning.

Essential Duties

• Prepare tax returns ranging from individuals, partnerships and some related entity returns for high-net-worth families.
• Review tax returns and projects of Tax Associates while gaining increasing responsibility with the review process.
• Responsible for more complex tax return preparation.
• Assist in staff development and training.
• Research and consult on various tax engagements.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
• Interact with managers, partners, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required.
• MST a plus.
• 3+ years of progressive tax compliance experience in public accounting required.
• Private Client Services group experience required.
• CPA license or EA designation a plus.
• Proficient in preparing individual, partnership and entity returns required.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax laws.
• Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computer software packages and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, ProSystems and CCH.
• Ability to work additional hours to meet client deliverables.

The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, office location as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications.
