Your Role as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician

• Perform scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts
• Install and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines
• Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration systems and ice machines
• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC systems to determine repair needs
• Inspect, repair, and replace equipment as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to prevent downtime
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve facility mechanical conditions
• Support facility-related projects
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Work independently on light commercial equipment
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 3-6 years in Commercial HVAC systems (VAVs, RTUs, air handlers, condensers, split systems, Ice Machines, Reach-in/Walk-in Coolers & Freezers)
• Certifications: EPA Certification required
• Hand tools and drills

Skills:

• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Familiarity with industry software (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb/descend ladders carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Other:

• Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel
• Ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements
• Valid driver’s license; subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks
• Remote work with occasional travel for training or meetings
