About the role

We are looking for a technically-savvy Content Marketing Lead to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that drives adoption and successful usage of our API and business-facing products. This role will create high-impact content that showcases Claude's features and capabilities to both technical developers and broader B2B/enterprise audiences. The ideal candidate will be a creative, data-driven marketer who can translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives while having the technical acumen to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a multi-format content marketing strategy to increase awareness and adoption of Anthropic's business products across both technical and business audiences
• Determine our content roadmap and drive our product visualization strategy across written, visual, and video formats
• Support product launches and feature releases with strategic content campaigns designed to drive business outcomes and accelerate revenue growth
• Create informative and engaging technical content for developers, startups, and enterprise customers, including tutorials, thought leadership, educational courses, and code examples
• Collaborate with technical demo creators to conceptualize, record, and scale video content that effectively demonstrates product capabilities
• Brainstorm innovative ways to showcase our products through key partnerships, interactive demos, client case studies, and technical deep dives
• Manage email marketing campaigns including lifecycle marketing emails, technical newsletters, product updates, and targeted communications
• Partner closely with our Developer Relations team to create technically accurate and engaging content for developer communities
• Refine our content distribution strategy, optimizing for both technical and business audiences
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with product roadmap

You may be a good fit if you have:

• 6+ years of experience as a Content Strategy Lead, Content Marketer, or similar content-focused role in a B2B technology company
• A technical background through education (CS, Engineering, or related field) and/or professional experience working with technical products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create tutorials, API documentation, newsletters, etc. for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to create content for developer and technical audiences, with samples showing effective technical communication
• Experience planning and producing video content, particularly product demonstrations and technical tutorials
• A strong understanding of B2B ecosystems and experience creating content that resonates with technical audiences
• Demonstrated passion for working with the latest technologies and a keen interest in AI/ML
• Shown creativity in past roles and can generate clever ideas that attract attention while furthering Anthropic's mission in AI safety
• Experience with content marketing tools and platforms for managing and distributing multi-format content
• An ability to understand and effectively communicate AI or machine learning concepts to various audience segments

The expected salary range for this position is:

Annual Salary:$240,000—$300,000 USD

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
