Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • License preferred; or must have ability to pass the Industrial Wastewater exam within six months to become Licensed.
  • Previous experience in a Wastewater Treatment position.
  • Minimum of two (2) Years’ experience in manufacturing environment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Keep equipment clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment for proper operation.
  • Complete all check sheets.
  • Perform an hourly check on chemical levels, including titration checks of chemical levels applied to metal going through washers                                                                                                             
  • Perform an hourly check on water going to the city's water system ensuring Hydro is below permit limits for discharge and managing hazardous waste according to state and federal regulations.
  • Start waste treatment system and ensure it is running as efficiently as possible.
  • Place hooks/rods in burn-off oven, remove, and clean for line use daily.
  • Complete chemical inventory as necessary and report usage.
