Lead Product Manager, Identity & Evidence Verification

This role is responsible for evolving the systems that establish, maintain, and leverage high-integrity identity across consumer and enterprise experiences—enabling seamless, secure interactions wherever CLEAR operates.</p> <p><em><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></em></p> <p>Own the Identity Verification Platform</p> <ul> <li>Lead the strategy and roadmap for CLEAR’s identity and evidence platform across consumer (CLEAR+) and enterprise (CLEAR1) products</li> <li>Build reusable proofing, verification, and evidence services that power all CLEAR surfaces (mobile, web, airport, partner integrations)</li> </ul> <p>Advance Identity Assurance &amp; Evidence Systems</p> <ul> <li>Expand and optimize source verification to improve assurance, reduce cost, and increase coverage</li> <li>Define how identity is established (proofing) vs. continuously evaluated (signals), and evolve both layers over time</li> <li>Drive alignment with National Institute of Standards and Technology frameworks (e.g., IAL2/IAL3) while maintaining flexibility for real-world use cases</li> </ul> <p>Build a Scalable, Reusable Identity Layer</p> <ul> <li>Decouple identity from individual products—ensuring identity can be created once and leveraged across multiple experiences and relying parties</li> <li>Develop systems for evidence storage, re-use, and auditability to support network-level advantages</li> <li>Ensure interoperability with emerging standards (e.g., mDoc / ISO 18013-7)</li> </ul> <p>Optimize Cost, Performance, and Resiliency</p> <ul> <li>Drive down cost per proofing/verification through orchestration, vendor strategy, and intelligent fallback systems</li> <li>Improve success rates and reduce false negatives/positives across all identity flows</li> <li>Build resiliency into critical identity services to support high-scale, real-time environments</li> </ul> <p>Own Data Integrity, Observability, and Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Treat data integrity and traceability as first-class
