Global Merchant & Network Services primarily focuses on the businesses that accept our cards. We bring together the businesses that manage and evolve the company's relationships with the millions of merchants around the world that accept American Express, as well as the team that runs the company’s payment network and manages bank partnerships globally.
We are expanding global acceptance of our cards, driving greater usage of our payment network, leveraging our modern capabilities to capture broader revenue streams, and driving innovation both in-house and with partners.

- We have 135+ million cards in force, that perform 12 billion transactions per year and contribute more than $1.7 trillion in network volume

Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) develops digital solutions that make it easy for bank partners, merchants, acquirers, etc. to connect and do business with American Express. Whether it's through transaction processing on our modernized, high-performing Network, or through acquiring platforms that allow millions of merchants to warmly accept Amex, NAS develops products and capabilities that are imperative to our customers' lives.
The Network Products Team is a critical part of the NAS organization, and is accountable for leading the strategy, design, development, and ongoing management of Network products, services, and capabilities. We are modernizing our payment capabilities to become a multi rail, omni channel payments ecosystem while delivering value to our merchants & partners simply, securely, and seamlessly.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Secure Remote Commerce/Click to Pay is an EMVCo industry standard digital checkout solution (think online purchases) which provides a seamless consistent digital checkout experience across browsers, devices, and payment networks. We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and passionate individual to drive adoption at global issuers and merchants through partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. You will also partner with the technology team to deliver product priorities.
- Identify, track, and monitor key performance indicators and achievements for the product
- Use analytical abilities and strategic perspective to identify trends & recommend solutions that will help improve the user experience
- Assist in developing the business case for new product features
- Assist with research of regulatory and industry developments and provide preliminary input on analysis of potential implications and opportunities
- Create and maintain product documentation and guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Compliance and other stakeholders to gather and document product requirements and to ensure timely delivery of product features
