Position Summary...
Words shape experience. This role is pivotal in guiding drivers and support agents through the Spark platform’s most important workflows — ensuring instructions are clear, context is correct, and every communication removes friction. From on-screen messages that clarify next steps to self-service guides that reduce contacts, your writing helps our users feel capable and supported across all driver communication types. What you'll do...
What You’ll Do:
- Craft UX copy that appears across in-app moments — including tooltips, modals, push notifications, and transactional communications — tailored to Spark’s driver personas.
- Write and maintain troubleshooting guides, how-to articles, and agent scripting that live across our driver-facing help site and internal support documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and comms leads to ensure content aligns with the voice of the platform and drives desired user behavior.
- Simplify complex workflows into intuitive instructions that help users complete tasks with confidence — whether accepting an order or resolving an account issue.
- Test and optimize copy using data from driver engagement, contact rates, and agent feedback to continuously improve clarity and performance.
- Ensure consistency across all messaging touchpoints by applying Spark’s content standards, tone of voice, and accessibility best practices.
What You’ll Bring:

- Exceptional ability to distill complex or technical concepts into clear, user-centered language.
- Portfolio demonstrating UX writing across apps, websites, or support environments.
- Experience writing for mobile-first products and knowledge of best practices for localization and accessibility.
- Strong collaboration skills — able to work fluidly with designers, engineers, compliance, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with knowledge base tools (e.g. Zendesk, ServiceNow, Confluence) and content management systems.
Nice-to-Have’s:
- Experience supporting gig, logistics, or high-scale operational platforms.
- Background in behavioral science, usability testing, or conversation design.
- Comfort writing for both proactive and reactive communication flows.
